Ballard Turkey Trot 5k

My first race! Didn’t do as well as I had hoped, but I did learn a lot about pace. I ran the first mile too slow. I finished strong, but felt like I left some out there. Overall a good experience.

I had planned on running at least 5 miles at a slow pace. My black lab, Simon, made sure I ran slow. He finally gave up at 3.5 miles and I walked them home.
